Challenge: Promote Cinematic Release

Cinemien, a European distributor of independent films, tasked us with promoting the Dutch release of the indie film “My Biggest Little Farm” with limited budget and maximizing impact, a challenge we eagerly accepted.

 

Solution: Original Videos With Director and Lead Character

We conducted interviews with the director and lead character of “My Biggest Little Farm” and produced two three-minute original videos in Dutch and English for social media distribution. We edited highlights from the interviews with movie images, crafting two engaging stories for both those who had and had not yet seen the movie. Our aim was to inspire viewers to watch the movie, share their thoughts, and spread the word about its excellence.

 

Impact: Huge audience in NL & worldwide

Our original videos received well over 1.2 million views and 67k engagements in the Netherlands, and the English version received 9.8 million views and 727k engagements on our social media channels. Thousands of people expressed their intent to watch the movie in the comments, while those who had seen it recommended it to others. Cinemien acknowledged our significant contribution to the movie’s success in the Netherlands and globally. Our videos were shared by influential social media partners like WWF, Greenpeace, 1MillionWomen,  Ecowatch and Aplus.  The videos continue to perform well even years after their release.
