These comedy wildlife pictures are a brilliant way to show how much nature has to give

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, was the result of two factors: Firstly, a need for a photography competition that was light hearted, upbeat, possibly unpretentious and mainly about wildlife doing funny things. 6 years on and these objectives seem to have been met. Secondly, and way more importantly, this competition is about conservation.

Wildlife conservation in an engaging and positive way

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards were founded by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, both professional photographers and passionate conservationists.
In addition to providing some light-hearted relief, the competition aims to highlight the extremely important message of wildlife conservation in an engaging and positive way, working with competition partner The Born Free Foundation.
