Dutch teen prepares meals for people who are homeless

Dutch Tijs (14) cooks meals for the homeless

Some people look at homeless people with contempt, whilst they are human beings too! Due to coronavirus, many homeless people spend the night in the shelter where 14-year-old Tijs is a volunteer. One of their biggest dorms can sleep 22 people normally. If they have a job, they try to find a room or a house they can share, but under the current circumstances that’s simply not possible because no jobs are available to them.
