Rescued from the slaughterhouse, Pigcasso is one fine, fortunate swine, painting a better world for pig-kind by inspiring consumers to see farm animals in a whole new light.

PIGCASSO FAT. FABULOUS. FINE ARTIST WITH A MESSAGE

She’s fat, she’s famous and she’s fabulous! Meet Pigcasso, the fine swine who was rescued from the brink of slaughter at a South African pig farm, and has risen up the ranks of the art world to become one of the most popular Abstract Expressionists of our time. From New York to Paris, Saturday Night Live, CNN and BBC, to the SWATCH watch face and Skyline NISSAN advertisement. This is hog heaven! Pigcasso’s primary purpose is to inspire consumers to see farm animals in a whole new light, awakening a connection and creating a more sustainable world for all kind.

Pig saved from slaughter becomes an artist A pig who was destined to become a pork chop was saved from the slaughter house and has now become an artist. The pig appropriately named Pigcasso is thought to be the world’s only painting pig. She is rarely seen without a paintbrush and spends her most of her time at an easel overlooking the beach in Cape Town. Source: YouTube/CatersClips

Hog Heaven: Pigcasso and her OINK Gallery reside within Farm Santuary SA

Rescued from the slaughterhouse in May, 2016 by Joanne Lefson, Pigcasso is one fine, fortunate swine. From pork chop to hog heaven at Farm Sanctuary SA, Pigcasso loves the good things in life: Eat. Sleep. Eat. Repeat.

She also loves to paint. Her favourite subject? The Cape’s scenic landscapes, inspired by a picnic basket fit for her unrivaled appetite. Grapes, caramel popcorn and peaches in syrup – more please!  At over 1000lbs/453kg of raw talent, Pigcasso is one heavyweight expressionist.

Her primary purpose? To paint a better picture for pig-kind! — Check out Pigcasso’s  Website, Facebook, and MyShopify online shop pages.
