The worldwide bin bag challenge: raising awareness about environmental pollution in our oceans

We don’t want more plastic than fish in the sea. Fortunately, there are a growing group of people joining the Worldwide Bin Bag Challenge — Join and let’s leave the places we visit cleaner than we found them.

Bin Bag Challenge – #binbagchallenge

We all remember the famous and viral "Ice Bucket Challenge" to raise awareness for the neurodegenerative disease ALS. Well, Bansdiving.de in cooperation with RateYourDive.com would love to take on that idea and start the "Bin Bag Challenge" to raise awareness about environmental pollution on our planet and especially in our oceans – so to say a worldwide degenerative disease of our planet and therefore affecting EVERYONE !

Please help by collecting at least 1 single bag full of rubbish from the closest beach/coastline/riverbank or even under water — If you are not near the sea or a river, you can also collect some rubbish in the nearby park. We are sure you won’t have to search for long to find something to collect.

Take some pictures or a short video, post it in this event or on other social media and nominate at least 3 friends to follow your example and also collect at least 1 bag of trash.

Let’s make this viral and spread the message – 1 bag at a time…’
