With one plastic bottle, a family’s entire life can be changed

It’s incredibly humbling to see how much difference a single lightbulb can make to someone’s life. In these villages in the Philippines, families can now see each other, children can study, and the night suddenly becomes less oppressive, all thanks to the simple technology used by Liter of Light.

Using a few wires, a lightbulb, and an old plastic bottle, the charity can provide light for a 15 square meter room with one bottle. 

This is such a great initiative, and even more amazing by how simple the concept is.
