Kaffeeform uses this wasted resource to creative a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative

‘As the global coffee consumption is steadily growing, the coffee grounds that are basically waste, will be available en masse‘, Lechner told Designboom. ‘Kaffeeform uses this wasted resource to creative a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to products based on mineral oils.’

Once the final shape is set, the material is dish washer friendly and long-lasting, and can be used over and over again. As well as a series of small espresso cups featuring a handle on the side and a matching curved saucer, Kaffeeform has also create cappuccino cups and its latest – a take-away styled cup. the cups are available to buy from the Kaffeeform websiteand can be purchased as individual units, or in sets of 4, 6 and 8.
